Visitors Pakistan won the second Test against Bangladesh by convincing margin of 328 runs in this afternoon in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Pakistan cricket has been facing lot of performances problem in the recent past. They did not go beyond the quarterfinals finals in World Cup 2015. They have limited opportunities of paying international cricket as not many countries visit Pakistan for security reasons. After a long time Pakistan visited Bangladesh. Most unexpectedly Bangladesh team had whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 in the one day international series and won the only T-20 match. They had drawn the first of the two match Test series. Pakistan cricket broad wisely decided to complement the team with two old guards in Misbah Ul Haq and Younis Khan.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field. The contribution of Younis Khan was outstanding as he scored 148 runs while Azhar Ali scored a brilliant 226 to help Pakistan post a massive 557 for 8 declared in the first innings. Their partnership for the third wicket added 260 runs. In reply Bangladesh innings crashed as nobody was able to put a stand except Shakib Ul Hasan who scored 89 runs. Bangaldesh was bundled out for 203 in the first innings.

In the second innings Pakistan scored runs at quick pace with Misbah Ul Haq (82) being the top scorer setting Bangladesh a huge target of 550. Bangladesh was never in the hunt and lost regular wickets and was bowled out for 221 giving Pakistan a 328 runs win. Yasir Shah of Pakistan took a total of 7 wickets in the match (3 wickets in the first innings and 4 wickets in the second innings) for Pakistan.

The old guards contributed not only with runs but also their presence boosted the morale of the entire team.
