Last week, a man drove his car to the pitch and tried to make an eight right at the center. The security of the stadium came in question as players like Suresh Rina, Gautam Gambhir, Ishant Sharma and many others were playing the game and it was a breach of the security of the players.

Soon, the authorities came into action and barred the entry of general public from the very next day. However, the media was allowed to cover the game, but now, they have even banned the entry of media, thus making it a ignored game.

Before the start of the contest, there were doubts that there might be no play due to dense fog in the capital state. However, the conditions were better on day 1, and a full quota of 90 overs was bowled. Services had scored 228 runs for the loss of eight wickets at the end of the day.

The conditions in Haryana were though not good as only 44 overs was bowled at the Chaudhry Bansi Lal stadium in Haryana, where the home side lost seven wickets on 99.

Meanwhile, DDCA has not yet decided the venue of their next home game. If the game is played at Palam, then there will be no media coverage of the game, as it looks with the stand taken by the authorities while if the game is played at Feroz Shah Kotla, the game will get its due importance.
