Parthiv Patel Names Two Indian Bowlers Against Whom He Struggled To Keep Wickets

India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel has revealed that there were a couple of legendary Indian bowlers who used to keep him busy behind the wickets. Parthiv Patel made bis debut for India in 2002, but since MS Dhoni broke into the scene, he made sure that no one could replace him in the Indian side.

It led Parthiv playing second-fiddle to MS Dhoni for the majority of his career. However, before Dhoni’s arrival, Parthiv Patel had a fair share of experience of playing for the senior national side which he reminisces as he looks back on his career after having come so far in his cricketing journey.

“It was a big challenge for sure, because Anil bhai and Harbhajan were at their peak. Their speed was faster than the normal spinners, but more than the speed the biggest challenge was the bounce which they were generating, especially when playing in Chennai and Mumbai. So that was a very big challenge,” Parthiv said.
