Paul Farbrace, England’s assistant coach, will take charge of the team during the upcoming Twenty20 International series against Australia and India respectively.
Chief coach Trevor Bayliss will take a break from coaching duties to spend time watching the England Lions in the ongoing 50-over Tri-series featuring India A and Windies A.
The Australian will also see some domestic games including the Royal London One-day Cup final between Hampshire and Kent on Saturday (June 23).
Bayliss will resume his duties ahead of the three-match ODI series against India, starting July 12.

Bayliss has often been criticised for his lack of county knowledge. And he is using the opportunity to enhance his knowledge about England’s domestic cricket.
Given England’s busy schedule, Bayliss hardly gets any time to follow county cricket and it is a sensible idea for him to get around the Lions and the counties, particularly given the World Cup is just over a year away.
Meanwhile, Farbrace is not new to coaching a team. He has had previous spells as interim head coach.
Moreover, in 2015, he had coached England after the sacking of Peter Moores. Interestingly, it was the time when England’s limited-overs resurgence began. Subsequently, they passed 400-mark for the first time in their ODI history.
Paul Farbrace has also coached Sri Lanka, helping them win the World T20 and Asia Cup in 2014 respectively.

Reports are also suggesting that Farbrace is in line to replace Bayliss once the latter’s contract ends with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Meanwhile, England will take on Australia in a One-off T20I on Wednesday (June 27) before playing against India.
Concluding, the hosts will be fighting out against India in a three-match series beginning on July 3.
The limited-overs series will kick off at Old Trafford in Manchester.
