India and Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 36th birthday today and got a massive surprise from his fans in Hyderabad who put up a massive cut out of the batter and celebrated his birthday in style.
The fans in Hyderabad gave a special tribute to the star batter as they unveiled a massive 60 feet cut-out in the city. The Hitman enjoys a massive fan following across the globe but the effort from Hyderabad’s supporters was indeed a special one.
The photos of the cut-out went viral on social media as earlier such fan fever has been witnessed for movie stars by Hyderabad.

Rohit made his IPL debut for the Deccan Chargers against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2008. He then moved to Mumbai Indians in 2011 and became their captain in 2013, leading them to five IPL titles thus far. After playing 234 IPL matches, Rohit has scored over 6,000 runs in the cash-rich league.

Meanwhile, the birthday boy will be in action today on April 30, as Mumbai Indians will clash with Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium. The match is also the 1000th match of the Indian Premier League.
The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will be decked up for the 1000th IPL match. The BCCI wants to make sure people have fun while watching the cricket match. There will be a small ceremony, where the two team skippers – MI captain Rohit Sharma and RR captain Sanju Samson – will be presented with special mementos.
Plus, there will be banners and special flags in the stadium to mark the occasion, carried by volunteers. Video clippings of the past editions of the IPL will be on display.
