Phil Salt of the Delhi Capitals had an aggressive conversation with Mohammed Siraj of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their recent most match of the IPL 2023 which was played in Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 6th.

Virat Kohli scored 55 and became the first batter to reach 7000 runs in IPL, RCB batted first and made 181/4.  Mahipal Lomror scored 54* while captain Faf du Plessis chipped up with 45.

However, Phil Salt hammered DC bowlers everywhere in a magnificent show of hitting, scoring 87 in 45 balls with 8 fours and 6 sixes. Meanwhile, Rilee Rossouw and Mitchell Marsh each contributed 35* and 26 respectively, ensuring that RCB was routed by 7 wickets and DC survived to fight another day.

But there was also drama in this game when Salt attacked Siraj in the fifth over. On the first two balls, the Englishman hit back-to-back sixes, then a boundary on the third.

Speaking with Rilee Rossouw in an interview on IPLT20.com after the match ended, Phil Salt shared the details of that exchange.

“Were you and Siraj just organizing tomorrow night’s dinner?” Rossouw asked.

“That’s exactly what he said. He said, ‘Where do you want go’ and I said, ‘Maybe Teppanyaki.’ And then he fired up because he did not want to go Teppanyaki, he wanted to go to Bukhara. And I was like, ‘easy, big fella,” Salt hilariously replied.
