TogglePiyush Chawla has heaped praise on Hardik Pandya’s attacking batting. He has cautioned the bowlers to not make a slight mistake when Hardik is batting because he won’t spare them. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has not played for India for more than 11 months.
Team India’s allrounder Hardik has been currently in the news because he was blessed with a son with his wife Natasa Stankovic on Friday (31st July). Also, recently, several cricket pundits have compared Hardik with England allrounder Ben Stokes, who had an impressive outing in the recently concluded Test series against West Indies.
Former Indian cricketers Gautam Gambhir and Irfan Pathan have expressed that Pandya is nowhere par with Stokes. However, Piyush Chawla has said that Pandya has become a better batsman than he was four years ago.
Piyush Chawla hails Hardik Pandya:

Speaking in the latest episode of Star Sports’ Cricket Connected chat show, Chawla said that Pandya can become a nightmare for bowlers if they make mistake.
“If you talk about the changes, then the Hardik Pandya that was there 4 years ago and the way he is batting in the last 2 years, there is a huge difference,” Chawla said.
“As a bowler, you need to prepare very well because you know that the margin of error is very small now, compared to what it was 4 years ago. If the ball is slightly off-target, whether too full or short, then he doesn’t spare you,” he added.
Hardik will feature in IPL:

Hardik Pandya has missed international cricket after his back pain resurfaced in September last year. At that time, the flamboyant batsman had claimed that he was suffering from a back injury since the Asia Cup 2018. So, after a prolonged pain, he decided to go for surgery in the UK which led his ouster from the team for an extended period.
However, as IPL 2020 is scheduled in September, the Mumbai Indians player would be raring to go back to the field.
Meanwhile, Piyush Chawla, who has lost his place in Team India in 2012, will be ready to play for Chennai Super Kings in UAE.
