Player ratings of Indian players as they defeated Bangladesh by 1 run
India have notched up a thrilling victory against Bangladesh, who miserably failed to score one run in three balls. Captain MS Dhoni gave the last over to Hardik Pandya who bowled an outstanding over and vociferous chorus of Bangalore fan put Bangladesh batsmen under pressure.
Earlier Indian batsmen struggled against India and managed to score 146 in 20 overs.
Here are the ratings of Indian players
Rohit Sharma: He played a patchy 16 ball innings of 18 balls. The right-handed batsman was sent to the pavilion by Mustafizur Rahman.
Shikhar Dhawan: The southpaw also failed to come out of the cave. He played 22 balls 23 run innings before Shakib Al Hasan trapped him lbw.
Virat Kohli: Even the best batsman of this world struggled against the Bangladesh batsman, his wicket proved India lost their backbone. Virat scored 24 balls 24 before Suvagata Hom hit the three sticks.
Suresh Raina: The southpaw played a crucial innings. He initially struggled but tried to release the tension hitting some boundaries if difficult deliveries. He scored 30 off 23 balls.
Hardik Pandya: The all-rounder bowled the last over and keep India’s hope alive in this World T20. He saved one run in the last three balls and took two wickets. Captain MS Dhoni threw the ball to the bowler and Bangladesh batsmen under pressure totally messed it up.
MS Dhoni: The captain played 12 balls and scored 13 runs. But the best performance came from his hand when he was fielding behind the wicket. He stumped out Sabbir Rahman when the batsman was in the air.
Yuvraj Singh: The batsman scored only 3 runs off 8 balls.
Ravichandran Ashwin: He bowled four overs and conceded 20 runs and took two wickets.
Ravindra Jadeja: He bowled four overs and conceded two runs more than Ravi Ashwin and took two wickets.
Jasprit Bumrah: The bowlers have gone expensive as he conceded 32 runs in four overs and has gone wicketless.
Ashish Nehra: The veteran bowler has also gone little bit expensive as he conceded 29 runs and took one wicket.
