Kolkata Knight Riders could have left the auction without getting Darren Bravo in their squad. He isn’t a fancied T20 player and has only 12 T20Is for West Indies as opposed to being the backbone of the Test side.
Well, he has the capability to add balance to the team. But, Gautam Gambhir would certainly not fiddle with his champion side and include a player who does have much T20 credentials. The West Indian simply cannot compete with the likes of Manish Pandey, Surya Kumar Yadav, Yusuf Pathan and a few others who have been the core part of the batting order in the past few years. There seems no way he could get matches on a consistent basis, for the fans at least.
