Parthiv Patel (CSK, KTK, DC, SRH, RCB, MI):
The baby-faced Indian cricketer was sold to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the inaugural Indian Premier League (IPL). Parthiv Patel had been the opening partner to Matthew Hayden till he donned the yellow jersey of Chennai.
Ahead of the 2011 IPL, Patel was roped in by the Kochi Tuskers (KTK) but the franchise got terminated and the entire team was once again in the auction for the 2012 IPL. The young cricketer then joined Deccan Chargers for $ 1m.
Although being decent with the bat, Parthiv could never hold his position in the team for long. He played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013 while he was taken in by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014. In 2015, Parthiv was bought by Mumbai Indians as the opener and this was the best season throughout his IPL career. There he aggregated a total of 339 runs from 14 matches at a strike rate of approximately 134. His opening partnership with Lendl Simmons for Mumbai earned Rohit Sharma & his men the second tournament title.
However, following the victorious season, Parthiv had slack in his game in the next season which he overrode with his bewildering total of 395 runs in the IPL 2017. Yet again MI won their third title, becoming the second successive franchise along with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
However, following his stunning performances with MI, RCB once again bought him ahead of the IPL 2018 and ever since then the cricketer is playing with Virat Kohli.
