Dinesh Karthik (DD, KXIP, MI, RCB, GL, KKR):

After Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik comes in as one of the most experienced wicketkeeper-batsman of the premier league. The veteran Indian cricketer was taken in by Delhi Daredevils for a whopping of 2.4 Crores in the inaugural franchise-based tournament.
Nevertheless, his struggle with runs remained the same in the twenty-overs league as well. After being with DD for three seasons, Karthik was roped in by KXIP for the 2011 edition. However, he could not deliver. And in the following season, Karthik moved in with MI for the 2012 and 2013 edition of the game.
And the sixth edition (IPL 2013) came out as Karthik’s watershed year where he smashed 510 runs in 19 games. However, even after the stunning performances, MI released him ahead of the IPL 2014. Karthik, after that, played for RCB in 2015 and Gujarat Lions for 2016-17 before being picked by the KKR in 2018.
With KKR, the Tamil Nadu cricketer was chosen to lead the team for a whopping 7.4 Crores for which he proved his mettle by aggregate 498 runs in 16 matches.
