5. Sam Curran – Chennai Super Kings:

The youngest player of CSK, Sam Curran, who was bought by the franchise in the last auction, will miss the major part of the tournament. The allrounders absence will surely cost the team. He will miss initial matches as he will be busy playing the series against Sri Lanka. Curran will also be unavailable for playoffs– if CSK qualify.
Another player which will be absent in the squad is the spinner, Mitchell Santner.
However, his unavailability will not be worrying sign as CSK has a lot of spinners.
Meanwhile, the first clash of CSK will be against Mumbai Indians on 29th March at Wankhede Stadium.
