1. Sachin Tendulkar – 11,157 runs

The former legendary batsman, master of 49 ODI centuries stands top in this list. He has scored a total of 18426 runs in ODI cricket and over 11,000 runs among them came on winning occasions. There was also a time when Sachin’s innings played a pivotal role in deciding India’s fate in the game.

2. Sourav Ganguly – 6938 runs 

The former Indian captain, and the holder of 22 ODI centuries was a brilliant opening batsman for the team. He was also regarded as the god of off-side due to his sheer talent in placing the ball in the off-side. He has 11,363 ODI runs and 6,938 of them came in winning occasions. Also, a bulk of his centuries came in winning occasions too.

3. Virender Sehwag – 5748 runs

The attacking opening batsman of India also makes himself into this list. If he gets going, he is capable of destroying any bowling line up in no time. He also has an ODI double century after his name. He scored a total of 8,273 runs in his career so far with 15 centuries.

4. Rahul Dravid – 5729 runs

The former Indian middle order batsman was surely an anchor batsman for the team and he took India to many wins by playing an anchor role with the bat. He has 10,889 ODI runs with 12 ODI centuries. He has played a number of match winning knocks for the team.

5. Yuvraj Singh – 5714 runs 

The brilliant left handed batsman proved blistering with the bat. He used to play valuable cameo at the death over of the innings that guided India to victory. He was also the player of the tournament in the previous World Cup. He has got 13 ODI centuries after his name.

6. MS Dhoni – 5048 runs 

MS Dhoni has been sensational and he is regarded as perhaps one of the best finishers in ODI cricket now. He has played a number of valuable knocks. His recent knock against Zimbabwe of 86 runs was simply a match winning one. He has got 8,428 ODI runs after his name.
