Forgoing Test cricketer Mohammadd Kaif has joined politics and he is a Lok Sabha candidate from Phulpur now. All he desires at this time is to ‘receive the blessings’ of his once upon teammates Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Virendra Shewag and he is requiring their support in his election effort.

This 33-year-old cricketer-turned-political leader has been seamed mourn regarding the poverty and the lack of development in Uttar Pradesh, precisely in Allahabad region. He stated his regrets in a press conference on this Saturday; he obtained his election ticket for Congress from Phulpur region just a week before.

He pronounced, “Cricket gave me the opportunity to go through the different part of my country.”

According to him, in that location is huge difference regarding infrastructure issues of Uttar Pradesh and that of Maharashtra or Southern states. “It causes a deficiency in the sports infrastructure also.” He added another finger,

Kaif belongs to Allahabad and he professed that he always desired to serve something for his home country which always including a vast sum of sports talent which is not being disclosed due to the deficiency of good coaching and grooming installations. But he could not see the route of answering for his home ground. “Merely, I used to be clueless as to how to answer that.”

“Today I feel like seeing the platform from where I can attend to my men.” He said.

He thinks that he can run on his activities in a consistent manner just like the room he used to bat to pull through along the lurch without any flamboyant boundaries or over-boundaries.
He has seemed excited when he was asked about the reaction of the legendary cricketers.

“I have spoken to and received the well wishes of many of my seniors like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh and Virendar Sehwag. They have assured me that they would be here to stand beside me during the campaign whenever it is possible for them. I am even during the procedure of contacting other cricketers, I have played with and they may aid me in electioneering too”.
Kaif knows that politics is a full time occupation.

“I’ve taken up my political career knowing that it’s a full time responsible job.” He is immediately thinking to get pulled away from the Ranji-level tournaments and as well as Indian Premier League. He supposed that he would decide depending upon the situations.

“I sense that whatever I have got was by the blessings of God and by the virtue of the passion of my fellow Allahabadis besides, of course, with the bread and butter of the entire nation. I recognise I’m satisfied and there are no complains.”
He was thinking of the time when he first met the Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi who came to Karachi to watch a match against Pakistan and he was the voice of the Indian national team. He stated, “However, I was astounded when I received the offer for the elections.”

“People might remember that as a cricketer I was workmanlike and not showy. I did not hit many boundaries or sixes, but used to hold open the scoreboard ticking with quick singles and twos. I desire to make my way up in politics as easily”. He felt rather convinced about the prospects of the upcoming elections and his political career as well.
