Poonam was the superstar for the women’s team in the recently concluded ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020. She was the leading wicket-taker for her team during the whole tournament, and the opposition faced difficulty to face her bowls. Her main weapon was to bowl googly which made her task easy to take wickets.
The spinner proved to be a dangerous bowler against the strong team Australia in the league match. She picked four wickets while giving just 19 runs in her four-over quota. However, she could not repeat the same stunt in the final of the tournament and India lost the game by 85 runs.

Neetu David, a former left-arm spinner, is India’s third-highest wicket-taker in Tests and second most wicket-taker in One Day Internationals. David retired from international cricket in 2006 but reversed that decision in 2008. She has played 10 Test matches and 97 ODIs in her career.
