Key Players –
JP Duminy has been the leading performer in the tournament so far for Delhi Daredevils. He has done a great job with the bat and also with ball. In the previous match, against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he failed to give a good start to the team and was bowled out for a paltry 95. Against Kings XI Punjab he must take the charge and bring back Delhi on winning ways.
Imran Tahir has been a great performer for Delhi Daredevils with the ball. He has picked wickets and also stopped the run flow of opponent team. He has 13 wickets to his name. Against Kings XI Punjab he needs to pick wickets at the start of his spell and also ensure they restrict Punjab to reasonable low total.
Glenn Maxwell has been not in good form in this year’s IPL edition so far scoring 62 runs in 5 innings. Punjab has been struggling as Maxwell has not scored runs at all and need him to score runs if he comes back in the team. Against Delhi Daredevils, Maxwell needs to come good and play his aggressive, get Punjab back on the winning ways.
Anureet Singh has bowled exceptionally well for Punjab with his line and length. He has troubled the batsmen with swing and also has bowled good in the death over’s too. Against Delhi Daredevils he needs to take early wickets and create pressure on the Delhi batsmen.
