Puma Perfect Deal: Virat Kohli Rejoiced Over Heart-Warming Message From Usain Bolt 1

The poster boy of modern-day cricket and Indian skipper Virat Kohli struck gold by signing 110 crore deal with Puma, the sports outfit brand, Kohli said he is happy to join the record-holder and sprint sensation Usain Bolt alongside Asafa Powell and the footballers Thierry Henry and Oliver Giroud as brand ambassadors for the global sports apparel brand.

Puma has a perfect deal with Virat Kohli, who received the heart-warming message from the 30-year-old premium athlete Usain Bolt.

The Jamaican-born Bolt took to microblogging website Twitter to congratulate Kohli for becoming the brand ambassador of Puma.

“Great choice @imVkohli Time to go to the next level #ForeverFaster,” tweeted Bolt.

They have grabbed millions of eyeballs, they are fit and fast, they are crowd favourites and above all, they are the top-notch sportsmen for their nations – to bring the glorious moments in the field of sports.

Kohli, who was endorsing the Puma’s rival Addidas said goodbye to the deal last year to start his new innings with Puma. He has responded Bolt’s tweet by saying ‘thank legend’.

The Delhi-born Kohli was pleased with the hundred crore endorsement deal which is spread over the time of eight-year.

“It’s a privilege to be part of a great list of athletes that Puma has. Not just today’s icons like Usain Bolt, but also the brand’s rich history with Pele, Maradona, Thierry Henry and others,” Kohli was quoted as saying by TOI.

Following this, the batting star Kohli also became the first Indian sportsperson to fetch 100 crore contract with a single brand.

“Both Puma and I are committed to a long-term partnership. I am impressed by the way Puma has gained popularity and market leadership in India in a short period of time,” added Kohli.

The 28-year-old Kohli’s royalty is based on the German brand’s performance in business following the fixed payment while dealing with the single brand.

“Both Puma and I are committed to a long-term partnership. I am impressed by the way Puma has gained popularity and market leadership in India in a short period of time,” Kohli concluded.

However, in the recent past batting legend, Sachin Tendulkar and former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni were the part of INR 100 crore club by dealing with various brands through the multi-year contracts which also included lifestyle brands.
