Quinton de Kock, the young South African Wicket-keeper batsman has been fined 5 percent of his match fees for showing dissent to the Umpire after his dismissal. The match was played at Raipur and Delhi Daredevils lost the match by 6 runs. De Kock was found offender of Level 1, as per the IPL Code of Conduct of the Players.

De Kock was playing his first match of the season and went on to score a quick fifty and setting up a win for Delhi Daredevils, only to see them losing the match after such a good start.

Delhi Daredevils are out of the Semi-final race and are playing for pride. They came in with few changes in the match, maybe to provide a chance to all the players in the lineup and team almost won the match. They were denied a win by Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s excellent bowling, who has now become a yorker factory, bowling them at will.

De Kock had a horrible World Cup 2015, though he was expected to get the initial games for the Delhi Daredevils but the team management went for strengthening the bowling department and relied on local players to come good with the bat. A part of this was due to the absence of Md. Shami and Zaheer Khan, though Zaheer returned back for the later games.
