R.Ashwin trolls critic on Twitter 1

In the modern era, with social media rapidly developing, cricketers have shed their inhibitions and openly divulge details with fans. Due to this, the fans have benefited as they can openly converse with their favorite cricketers. Nevertheless, this has also allowed some individuals to vent their frustrations on professional cricketers and hog the limelight.

In a recent case, one such individual on Twitter, tried to troll Indian off spinner and number one ranked test all rounder R. Ashwin. The focus was all on the Indian squad as the three match home test series against New Zealand remains around the corner. With Ashwin expected to be India’s go to man, the spotlight is entirely on him.

Sensing this is an opportunity, an individual with the Twitter handle Tharshan Msdfan(07), indirectly questioned Ashwin’s selection in the side. The Twitter user implied that Ashwin wasn’t a good spinner. To this, the star all rounder responded in some serious style. Ashwin maintained that he wasn’t too satisfied with the English and grammar of the person who posted the tweet. It was a hilarious response from Ashwin which definitely was worth an applause. Check out the tweet below, and the subsequent response by Ashwin.

In a recent interaction with the press, Ashwin was lauded by Indian coach Anil Kumble, for his fine performances in the recent past. “You can’t ask for a better all-rounder in the team. He gets hundreds, then picks up five-fors and wins you matches. He has been brilliant and I think this home season, you would want him to play all those 13 Tests and pick up lots of wickets, because he is a crucial member of the team,” said Kumble.

Ashwin’s way of trolling his detractors just didn’t stop there. For a tweet, where he congratulated Paralympics athlete Deepa Malik for her fine show, a Pakistani fan tried to poke some fun. Ashwin answered him in a fine way, which surely had the Twitter user running for cover!
