Rabada faces injury concern 1

The injury problems doesn’t seem to end for South Africa as their front line pacer Kagiso Rabada has now suffered an injury. The 22-year old Rabada is struggling with a stiff lower back.

He picked up the injury while bowling in the first innings. Though the injury doesn’t seem so serious as he is still expected to bowl in the second innings.

Meanwhile, Morne Morkel, who is playing his last Test for South Africa has also suffered an injury and he is still recovering from the side strain that he picked up in the first innings.

But as far as the match is concerned, it looks like South Africa can still win it without Rabada as they have given Australia a mammoth target of 612 runs to chase.

South Africa posted 488 runs in the first innings and in reply Australia managed to score only 221 runs in their first innings and that made the way for the Proteas to post a huge target.

Rabada picked up 3 wickets while Morkel picked up 1 wicket in the first innings and according to the latest news, it has been known that both Rabada and Morkel are bowling in the 2nd innings.

At the moment, South Africa lead 2-1 in the series, and they will become the first side to beat Australia in a home Test series since re-admission if they avoid defeat in Johannesburg.
