The Indian National team is all set to under-take a change in management and coaching staff and the former Indian batsmen Rahul Dravid has expressed that the right person for the job must be chosen irrespective of his nationality.
The mentor for the Rajasthan side in the IPL said that the game has reached a level of professionalism and that all that is required to for someone to coach the Indian National Team is for him to be capable and suitable for the job.
Dravid also spoke about the revival of the cricketing relation between bitter rivals India and Pakistan. Dravid who felt that the series is not just about cricket and that it involves a lot of security issues felt that an India Pakistan bilateral series is always exciting. He added that there is a bit of a political involvement in the running of the series and that for the fans and players concerned it is a brilliant opportunity.
Rahul who felt that it was disappointing to see Kevin Peterson dropped out of the England squad said that in the time he spent with Kevin he never had any issues with him. He added that the whole Peterson situation is a bit strange as he felt that KP was given the impression that he would be picked had he scored runs but now after having scored runs, not being picked is disappointing.
