Siddharth Trivedi (Gujarat, India)
The unsung hero of IPL 2008, Siddharth Trivedi was another vital cog in Rajasthan Royals’ wheel. With the ball in hand, he took 13 wickets in 15 matches in IPL 2008. Though Trivedi didn’t pocket one wicket against Chennai in the finals, the pacer was instrumental in picking crucial scalps during the fag end of the innings in the entire season. His slower ball was one of his most lethal deliveries, and he had success while executing them.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan fast bowler had played 82 first-class matches, 78 List A and 103 T20s. Trivedi, during the end of his career, represented Saurashtra and played his last game on March 28th in Pune.
