Munaf Patel (Gujarat, India)
Munaf Patel, another bright star in the prospect for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2008. The right-arm pacer had the pace, slower balls, lethal yorkers to deceive the batsmen; and he did it without failing for RR in the inaugural season. Picking up 14 wickets in 15 matches, Patel was a bowler to look out for CSK leading upto the finals. However, he bowled two overs in the summit clash and went wicketless.
Meanwhile, Munaf has had a great cricketing career until the 2011 World Cup. Later, injuries and his dip in form saw him getting released from the India team forever. Even in the IPL, he last played for Gujarat Lions in 2017 and remained unsold in the auctions post that season.
