Swapnil Asnodkar (Goa, India)
The pocket-sized dynamite from Goa, Swapnil Asnodkar was an integral part of the Rajasthan Royals’ side in the IPL 2008 finals. Off the top three batsmen, it was Swapnil, who gave Rajasthan a flying start – hitting 28 off 20 fours, including four fours. The youngster rose in the setup with his attacking strokeplay though he didn’t leave a significant impact later on.
Asnodkar, across four seasons in the IPL played a little 20 matches, scoring 423 runs. Meanwhile, the right-handed batsman still represents Goa in India’s domestic structure and last played a game against Gujarat in Chennai on February 14th.
