Sohail Tanvir (Pakistan)
The left-arm Pakistan bowler, perhaps the find of the IPL 2018, Sohail Tanvir was the cornerstone of Rajasthan Royals’ success. The fast bowler took 22 wickets including his career-best 6/14 against CSK in the group stages. In the finale, he took one wicket and hit the winning run – remaining unbeaten on nine off seven balls. However, he had emerged on the scene during 2007 World T20 but gained prominence after his performance in IPL 2008.
Right now, the 34-year old is playing for Quetta Gladiators in the PSL 2019. Earlier, he played for Sylhet Sixers in the Bangladesh Premier League. Meanwhile, Tanvir’s chances of playing for Pakistan has looked minute in the recent past despite he playing regular franchise cricket across the world.
