Rajasthan Royals have roped in Amol Muzumdar and Sairaj Bahutule as coaches for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. The inaugural winners have already secured the services of Australian spin great Shane Warne as a mentor.
Mazumdar, one of the most decorated batsmen in Indian cricket, will help out the batsmen. His first-class career spanned over two decades. He represented Mumbai for 15 years before playing for Assam. The batting stalwart amassed a staggering 11167 runs from 171 first-class matches, with 30 centuries.
On the other hand, Bahutule—who is also the Bengal head-coach—is expected to mentor the bowlers.
Rajasthan Royals are yet to confirm the developments. However, Sportstar has claimed that both Muzumdar and Bahutule took charge a few weeks ago. They would be working alongside Royals’ cricket director Zubin Bharucha.
The report further claimed that both the former players attended the first two-day team camp at the Brabourne Stadium on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Warne will miss the first half of the camp. The spin legend, who led the franchise to the title in 2008,is expected to join the team towards the end of March.

Rajasthan Royals are returning to the league after a gap of two years. The franchise along with Chennai Super Kings was banned in 2015 due to corruption charges. And they will be hoping for a good comeback.
The Rajasthan-based franchise has built a squad that is capable enough to challenge for the title. In Steve Smith, they have a captain who can lead from the front. In Ben Stokes and Ajinkya Rahane, they have got two very brilliant players of the shortest format. Jofra Archer is also there who can turn out to the x-factor.
