Rajasthan Royals have unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming season in an event in Jaipur. The franchise are making a comeback into the Indian Premier League after two years.
They along with Chennai Super Kings were banned in 2015 for two years after being found guilty of match fixing and cricket betting allegations. However, with the return of the franchise, the buzz has been very positive over the recent months.
The new jersey has pretty much a familiar look with some nice additions to their crest. JK Lakshmi is the title sponsor for the team this season and their logo is upon the front on their jersey.

Shane Warne Back As Mentor
The team management had revealed earlier, that Warne will be back as mentor this season. The Australian legend had led the team to an improbable league title in the inaugural edition.
However, since then the team found little success as they traditionally became a mediocre side in the cash rich league. With Hodge, Warne at the helm, the fans are optimistic about their chances.
“For me, it is an honour and privilege to be back. I have some wonderful memories, I got to know the city very well and will never forget. We have such a great squad and Rajasthan feels like home, and I have felt part of the Rajasthan history”, Shane Warne told the media.
The legendary spinner was also full of praises for their new skipper Ajinkya Rahane. He believes that this is the best squad that the franchise have had in their history.
”It is the best squad that the Royals have put together. I have seen Rahane captain, and we have him as the best captain in the IPL. I am looking forward to helping the guys, it’s been a while since I was involved with the game at this year. We are going to be back with a bang this year” he added.
