Rajkot Test: Twitterati Troll Butterfingered Indian Players 1

One of the biggest reasons for India’s dominant performance in international cricket in the last few years has been their world class fielding. The likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja have made life tough for opposition batsmen with their acrobatic skills. And the importance of performing well in the field is in full display in the ongoing Test against England at Rajkot.

Not one or two, but the Indian team has dropped five catches that have helped the visitors to gain an upper hand in the series opener. England skipper Alastair Cook was dropped twice while his opening partner Haseeb Hameed was also given a reprieve. India did not have to pay a big price for their mistakes but the story of poor fielding continued on the second day too as Wriddhiman Saha dropped Ben Stokes twice. The hosts are paying a big price this time as the English all-rounder is taking full-advantage of Saha’s error.

As expected, the Twitterati trolled the Indian team for their poor show on the field. Here are some of the reactions.
