Sri Lanka notched up a historic Test win over India by 73 runs in the first Test match of the three-match series at Galle. Slow left-arm spinner Rangana Herath pulled up a miracle for Sri Lanka as he took seven wickets.
India started the day four at 23 for 1, but bamboozled by Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath who took seven wickets, and rest three was picked up by Tharindu Kaushal. Virat Kohli was caught at short leg Kaushal Silva off Tharindu Kaushal. Wriddhiman Saha stepped out hit Herath but he was beaten by the flight and stumpped out by Dinesh Chandimal. India folded up inside 112 run inside 49.5 over as they suffered a big collapse 80 for 9.
