Delhi opening batsman Gautam Gambhir is unbeaten on 135 after facing 237 deliveries as he struck 20 boundaries in his knock. He managed to score at the run-rate of 56.96 against Karnataka in the Group A fixture at Alur.

The left-handed batsman Gambhir played an imperative role under the leadership, Ishant Sharma, as the visitors managed to score 277 for four in 84 overs when stumps were drawn on the day three.

At the other end, Milind Kumar was batting on ten off 52 balls.

For Karnataka, Stuart Binny was the pick of the bowlers, who went on to pick two wickets after conceding 39 runs in 13 overs.

In a Group D fixture, Chhattisgarh routed hosts Himachal Pradesh by an innings and 114 runs at Dharamsala.

In second innings, Himachal Pradesh was skittled out for 167, as Shahnawaz Hussain’s six-wicket haul has had piled-up the misery for Sumeet Verma-led side.

The 24-year-old fast bowler conceded 53 runs in 16 overs to claim six wickets under his belt.

In a Group A game, Uttar Pradesh scored 229 for two in 66 overs after riding on a significant hundred of opening batsman Umang Sharma, who is batting on 131 off 205 balls.

In second innings, Uttar Pradesh is leading by 260 runs with Mohammad Saif unbeaten on 38 off 79 balls at other end.

However, after a good start, skipper Suresh Raina failed to convert it into a big score. The left-handed batsman posted 33 runs after consuming 77 balls.

Group A:

Assam Vs. Uttar Pradesh

On day three stumps, Uttar Pradesh is leading by 260 runs in second innings. The visitors posted 229 for two in 66 overs.

Karnataka Vs. Delhi

Delhi finished the day three with 277 for four on board in 84 overs after scoring from the overnight score of 20 for no loss in five overs.

Maharashtra Vs. Railways

Railways managed to post 330 for five in 114 overs in response to Maharashtra’s 481. In Pune, the visitors are trailing by 151 runs in the first innings.

In a Group C fixture, Deepak Hood-led Baroda is six-wicket away to register an emphatic win over Mumbai. At stumps, Mumbai was 102 for four with Ajinkya Rahane batting on 28 off 74 balls as Suryakumar Yadav faced six balls to score two runs.

In second innings Mumbai is trailing by 302 runs.

Group B:

Jharkhand Vs. Jammu and Kashmir in Jamshedpur

In 59 overs, Jharkhand posted 246 for seven. Parvez Rasool-led side is leading by 330 runs in the second innings after Jharkhand declared on 292 for nine.

Saurashtra Vs. Gujarat in Rajkot

Gujarat-led by Parthiv Patel posted 304 for four on board in 106 overs, as the reigning champions are trailing by 266 runs in first innings.

Haryana Vs. Rajasthan in Rohtak

After skittling out Rajasthan for 150, Haryana led by Amit Mishra posted 179 for five in 55 overs. In Rohtak, the hosts are leading by 252 runs.

Group C:

Tripura Vs. Andhra Pradesh in Agartala

In Agartala, Andhra Pradesh finished day three with 51 for one on board in 17 overs. The visitors are leading by 138 runs in second innings.

Mumbai Vs. Baroda

After Mumbai was bundled out at the paltry score of 171, the hosts posted 102 for four in second innings in 29 overs.

Odisha Vs. Tamil Nadu in Cuttack

Odisha is trailing by 244 runs in the first innings against Tamil Nadu. The hosts in Cuttack managed to score 286 for four in 101 overs.

Group D:

Bengal Vs. Vidarbha in West Bengal

Manoj Tiwary-led Bengal is trailing by 206 runs, as the hosts finished day three on 86 for three in 29 overs. In the first innings, Bengal was bundled out at the score of 207.

Services Vs. Goa in Delhi

In Delhi, Services scored 108 for three in 34 overs. The host side is leading by 101 runs after Goa managed to post 270 in first innings.
