At stumps on day one of the seventh-round of the domestic competition, teams have come off to a good start which further saw them struggling with the ball and scoring neatly in the same breathe.
In the Group A fixture, the twin-tons from Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey has helped Karnataka to go past the 300-run mark on the very fast day of the fixture in Delhi against Railways.
So far, the 26-year-old right-handed batsman Agarwal scored 930 runs in nine innings while participating in the ongoing Ranji Trophy series.
Promising Agarwal amassed 899 runs only in the month of November itself which shows how rollicking in the form he has been for the state team in the premium domestic competition.
In the first innings after stumps at day one, Karnataka posted 355 for six on board in 89.2 overs.
The opening batsman Mayan Agarwal, who has been in form, for his state-side. He smashed 173 off 241 balls. He smashed 17 boundaries and a solitary six in his knock.

On the other side, promising Manish Pandey scored 108 off 169 deliveries, as gloveman CM Gautam was batting on 25 off 50 balls.
For Railways, Manish Rao picked two wickets after conceding 65 runs in 13 overs.
On the other side, in the Group D game, Punjab is on top against Services after riding on splendid hundreds which were smashed by Shubman Gill (129 off 142 balls) and Anmolpreet Singh (129* off 183).
At stumps on day one of the ongoing Ranji tournament, Punjab was in command with 395 for two in 90 overs, as Anmolpreet is batting alongside Gurkeerat Singh, who faced 106 balls to score 68 runs.
Group A:
Hyderabad Vs Delhi in Hyderabad
At stumps on day one, Delhi was 336 for five in 87 overs.
Lalit Yadav is batting on 62 off 11 balls, as Manan Sharma scored 16 off 32 balls.
After restricting Assam on 279 in 66.2 overs, Maharashtra scored 64 for three in 18 overs.
For Maharashtra, Nikit Dhumal bagged a five-wicket haul. He bowled 21 overs to concede 94 runs.
For Assam, their skipper Gokul Sharma was the top-scorer with 87 runs off 141 balls.
Maharashtra skipper Ankit Bawne is batting on six off 12 balls and gloveman Rohit Motwani faced 20 deliveries to score seven.
Railways Vs Karnataka in Delhi
Karnataka is in a strong position with 355 for six in 89.2 overs against Railways in Pune.
Group B:
Jharkhand Vs Gujarat in Ranchi
At stumps, the visitors Gujarat scored 262 for four in 83 overs.
Manprit Juneja and Rujul Bhatt are batting on 51 each, as Shahbaz Nadeem for Jharkhand bagged two wickets after bowling 23 overs in which he gave away 67 runs.
Rajasthan Vs Saurashtra in Jaipur
In 86 overs, Saurashtra posted 286 for three on Board against Rajasthan in Jaipur when stumps were withdrawn.
Hosts Haryana is struggling against Kerala with 208 for eight in 80.1 overs.
Group C:
Madhya Pradesh Vs Odisha in Indore
After dismissing Odisha on the paltry score of 147, Madhya Pradesh finished the first day with 96 for one on the board.
Opening batsman Rajat Patidar is batting on 72 off 114 balls, as skipper Devendra Bundela faced 24 balls to score seven.
Earlier, after being bundled out in 52.2 overs, the 27-year-old Chandrakant Sakure was the chief architect with the ball who bagged four wickets for Madhya Pradesh.
For Odisha, Santanu Mishra was the top-scorer with 60 off 100 balls.
Tamil Nadu Vs Baroda in Vadodara
In 87 overs on day one of the seventh Ranji round, Baroda managed to post 258 for eight in 87 overs against Tamil Nadu at Vadodara.
In another game, Tripura was skittled out for 195, as Mumbai in response was 77 for three in 22 overs.
The hosts are trailing by 118 runs in the first innings.
Group D:
Punjab Vs Services in Amritsar
So far, Punjab has dominated Services, as the hosts posted 395 for two on board in 90 overs.
Vidarbha Vs Himachal Pradesh in Nagpur
In 90 overs, Himachal Pradesh scored 287 for six against Vidarbha in Nagpur.
At stumps on day one, Bengal managed to score 305 for five in 84 overs against Goa in Kolkata.
