Group A game between Mumbai and Bengal ended in an interesting draw. This game was one of the biggest highlights of this round as Mumbai made an immediate impact on day one by dismissing Bengal on just a score of 99. Shardul Thakur was the bowler who shone for Mumbai as he scalped six wickets. Mumbai could just bat for 58 overs in the second innings of the game scoring 229 runs, 139 runs ahead of Bengal. Jharkhand, who was in a comfortable position till the start of the fourth day’s play immediately found themselves in trouble against Assam as the opposition team asked Jharkhand to chase 111 runs on the final day. Though this was a small target but Jharkhand lost half of its side to chase this total. Thanks to the contribution of Anand Singh and Ishank Jaggi who scored 30 and 34 respectively. Jharkhand climbed to the top of the table with this win against Assam.
