Ranji Trophy round-up: Day one
The first of the Ranji Trophy took everybody by surprise as new bowling friendly pitches made batting first team to struggle. Among the big names like Virender Sehwag and Ravindra Jadeja played impressive knock on a difficult condition.

Assam v Karnataka
Defending champion Karnataka were all out for paltry 187 as Assam off-spinner Jamaluddin Syed Mohammad spun them out by taking seven wickets at Guwahati.
Maharashtra v Haryana
In Pune, Haryana ended the in good positions as Virender Sehwag’s 92 and Himanshu Jaikanwar Rana brilliant 138 helped Haryana 303 for 6.
Delhi v Rajasthan
Delhi vs Rajasthan may turn to a thriller. Delhi batting first collapsed like a pack of cards for 138. On the other, Rajasthan is struggling for 74 for 3 at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur. Deepak Chahar of Rajasthan took five wickets.
Vidarbha v Odisha

Andhra Pradesh v Mumbai
Andhra Pradesh lost just two wickets for 170. The captain Mohammad Kaif (66) will start the day two with Ricky Bhui (91).
Punjab v Railways
In Mohali, Punjab is batting first and is in a strong position They ended the day with 235 for 2 against Railways. Mandeep Singh (100) and Uday Kaul (92) has ended the day with a 178 run partnership.
Tamil Nadu v Baroda
Tamil Nadu is bowled out for 125 in Chennai by Baroda. Yusuf Pathan and Bhargav Bhatt took four wickets each.
Uttar Pradesh v Madhya Pradesh
In Moradabad Uttar Pradesh, batting first ended the day 260 for 2. Almas Shaukat returned to the dressing room with a hundred in his career. Tomorrow he will start batting on 110 runs.
Goa v Hyderabad
Hyderabad ended the day 246 for 5. Akshath Reddy and Hanuman Vihari scored 61 and 82 respectively. Rituraj Singh took two wickets for Goa.
Jammu &Kashmir v Kerela
