Reports suggested that Rashid Khan may fly to Lahore and appear in the final on Sunday but the 23-year-old can’t play as he is in Bangladesh for national duty.

Rashid Khan Won’t Feature In Lahore Qalandars Final Clash Against Multan Sultans
Previously, few reports had claimed that the Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan may fly to Lahore to represent Lahore Qalandars in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven final on Sunday.
“It would’ve been great to be part of Lahore Qalandars and play alongside lads in the final,” he tweeted.

Rashid Khan added that playing for Afghanistan is his first priority and wished Lahore Qalandars’ captain Shaheen Shah Afridi and his teammates best of luck for Sunday’s final against Multan Sultans.
It must be noted that the star spinner left Lahore Qalandars’ squad after playing nine matches where he took 13 wickets. Australia’s Pakistan-born leg spinner Fawad Ahmed was named his replacement for the remainder of the competition.
Multan Sultans Led By Mohammad Rizwan Was The First Team To Qualify For PSL 2022 Final
The final of the Pakistan Super League will be played on Sunday, February 27, between Mohammad Rizwan-led Multan Sultans and Shaheen Shah Afridi-led Lahore Qalandars.

Lahore Qalandars defeated Islamabad United by 6 runs in the playoffs to enter the final of the T20 tournament and Mohammad Rizwan’s Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 28 runs to become the first team to qualify for the final of the Pakistan Super League 2022.
Having won the first two fixtures at Chattogram, hosts Bangladesh have clinched the three-match ODI series while the two T20Is will be played on March 3 and March 5 in Dhaka.
