The winners of the VIVO IPL 2016, the Sunrisers Hyderabad had a dream tournament this campaign.
They have a decent squad with the likes of David Warner, Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh and Mustafizur Rahman all making telling contributions as they managed to sneak into the qualifiers with a 3rd place finish in the group stage.
From then, SRH won 3 games in 5 days including the final at Bangalore to lift first ever IPL trophy in their history. They beat KKR in the first eliminator, the thumped the Lions in the second to set up a crunch tie against the RCB in the final.
A superb batting and bowling performance saw them stop RCB from chasing the target and won the game by 8 runs to set off celebrations across the city.
