Indian head coach Ravi Shastri recently called “unprecedented” to finish the full Caribbean tour without losing a single match.
After the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the USA and West Indies tour was India’s first international assignment. This tour ran between 3rd August and 3rd September 2019. India played three-match T20I series, three-match ODI series and two-match Test series in this tour.

It was a totally memorable tour for the Indian national cricket team. They first won the T20I series by 3-0. Then, they won the ODI series by 2-0 while the first ODI had no result due to the rain-interruption.

India and Windies both started their journeys in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship (2019-21) through recently concluded two-match Test series on the Caribbean soil. India once again dominated in the Test series and completed whitewash (won by 2-0). At the end of that Test series, India are sitting on top of the ICC World Test Championship with 120 points.
Ravi Shastri shared his feeling about the latest Caribbean tour
Indian head coach Ravi Shastri feels that it was unprecedented to finish the full Caribbean tour without a defeat. As it was always tough in the past, Shastri believes that it will be also not easy in the near future.

Recently, Shastri told Gulf News, “To beat the West Indies in West Indies across all three formats, I think this must be unprecedented. A team going to the Caribbean and not losing a single game, I don’t think it has happened in the past and it will not happen that easily in the near future.”
The Indian national cricket team is now getting ready for the home international series against South Africa. South Africa will begin their journey in India through the three-match T20I series (15th to 22nd September 2019).
After the T20I series, India and South Africa will be busy in the three-match Test series. This series will run between 2nd and 23rd October 2019. It will be India’s second Test series in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship. In the meantime, the Proteas side will start their campaign in this Championship with this Test series.
