Ravi Shastri To Fetch A Salary Of Nearly 8 Crore, Rest Of Support Staff To Be Paid 2-3Crore

In his presentation to BCCI, apart from stressing on the performance of the team, Anil Kumble – the former Head Coach of Indian cricket team – laid a strong attention on his salary and the pay of the captain. Who would have known that the efforts put by him to increase his salary will ultimately benefit Ravi Shastri?

The newly appointed Head Coach of Indian cricket, Ravi Shastri, is set to pocket an amount of around 8 Crore, which is nearly 1.5 Crore more than what Kumble used to earn. Though the amount is 1 Crore less than what Kumble demanded as he put a demand of 9 Crore for his services.

Sanjay Bangar has got a promotion as he has been elevated to the post of Assistant Coach of the team. R Sridhar, Patrick Farhat and Shankar Basu have been retained in their respective jobs. There is still no clarity over the roles of Rahul Dravid and Zaheer Khan as there was no official word from the board on the role assigned or not assigned to these two former members of the Indian cricket team.
