After a pulsating win in the second ODI courtesy, MS Dhoni, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the cricketing fraternity is going gaga over the match winning performance of MS Dhoni. MS Dhoni left captaincy to focus in his batting and wicket keeping was out of form since the England series early this year, and with selection committee making it clear that nobody’s place is guaranteed in the team. MSK Prasad, chief of a selection committee, made it clear that fitness and performance are the only factors to make it to the Indian team. MS Dhoni’s match winning knock came as a blessing for him.
Ravi Shastri, who is presently the coach of the Indian cricket team, has always been a fan of Dhoni. On the eve of the third ODI, Shastri tweeted, Classic example the other night that experience can’t be bought or sold in a market place – @msdhoni #TeamIndia #SLvIND

MS Dhoni helped India bail out of a critical situation against the Lankans along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Sri Lanka will be looking forward to building upon the momentum they had in the second ODI and take it in the third ODI.
On the other hand, India will be looking to wrap up the series in the next ODI. If India manages to win the series, this will be India’s fifth consecutive series win under Virat Kohli. MS Dhoni has helped India win some crucial matches and has played match winning innings for the country over the years. It would be interesting to see if MS Dhoni will be able to maintain the consistency and keep his place in the team secure.
India lead Sri Lanka two-nil in the five match series with three more ODI’s to be played. The two teams will clash for a one off T20 after the ODI series.
