The Board of Control for Cricket in India president Sourav Ganguly believes Ravichandran Ashwin goes unnoticed sometimes for his achievements. Ashwin is all set to end as the leading International wicket-taker of the decade. The off-spinner scalped 564 wickets from 2010 to 2019 in all the three forms of the game.

Ashwin has been one of the most consistent bowlers for India, especially in the Test matches. The off-spinner was dropped from the ODI squad after the 2017 Champions Trophy. On the other hand, England veteran pacers James Anderson and Stuart Broad snared 535 and 525 wickets respectively and they are placed at second and third place.
