Ashwin’s favourite spinner:
He picked the Indian Anil Kumble as his favourite spinner. The legendary spinner had also heaped praises on Ashwin by calling him the best spinner in the world right now. Ashwin who made his test debut in 2011 has metamorphosed into one of the best spinners in the world right now with his exemplary performances.
He has already picked up 176 wickets in 32 tests at an excellent average of 25.39. On Indian conditions, he seemed to have become the new match winner for India in tests he almost single-handedly bamboozled Proteas in the test series to help India win 3-0. He with his guile and loop has deceived the best in the business and earned accolades from the cricket intelligentsia.
