Ravindra Jadeja is full of confidence after India’s win in 2nd Test at Melbourne. He is optimistic that India will perform well in the next two Tests thereby sealing a Test series victory like in 2018-19 when the team registered their first Test series victory in over 70 years.
All-rounder Ravindra Jadejamade a successful return to Test fold after suffering a concussion during 1st T20I. India’s 2nd Test match in Adelaide was his 50th Test.

Ravindra Jadeja: Everybody Is Looking In Good Form As India Will Continue Playing In the Same Momentum And Try To Seal Series
Although he got to bowl only 33 deliveries in the first innings, Ravindra Jadeja picked up Pat Cummins wicket. He backed skipper Ajinkya Rahane to perfection with a 159-ball knock of 57 runs that contained 3 boundaries. Ravindra Jadeja also scalped two wickets in the second innings bowling 14 overs.
BCCI shared a video clip on their official website titled ‘Post win shenanigans’ where Ravindra Jadeja spoke at length about the team’s remarkable comeback and their goals for the next 2 Tests.

“I think everybody is looking in good form. The batsmen are scoring runs and the bowlers are taking wickets. So, hopefully as a team, we continue the same momentum and win the next game and try and seal the series in Australia. That would be great as a team,” said Ravindra Jadeja.
The Indian cricket team were without the services of Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Rohit Sharma in the second Test. Not many expected India to dominate Australia the way they did at the MCG taking a lead of 131 runs in 1st innings and bowling Australia to 195 and 200 in two innings especially with Umesh Yadav also injured after bowling only 3.3 overs.
Ravindra Jadeja: India Came Up With Good Spirit And Positive Attitude
The all-rounder said India came up with a fighting spirit and positive attitude and played well in every aspect to register morale lifting 2nd Test win.
“This is going to be a very special victory for us as a team because we were 1-0 down. We lost the first game badly. So, I think we came up with a good spirit, good attitude, and as a team, we played very good cricket. Batting, bowling – everything,” concluded Ravindra Jadeja.

Stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane received heaps of praise from innumerable fans and experts after the comeback win which was a special one after first Test debacle where they registered lowest Test score of 36.
