Ravindra Jadeja scored a half century while Rohit Sharma scored unbeaten 68 at Greek Park, Kanpur in the second innings of India against New Zealand in the first Test.
India gave a massive 434 runs lead. New Zealand at the end of the fourth day scored 93 conceding 4 crucial wickets.
The partnership of Rohit and Jadeja helped India to stretch the lead over New Zealand.
Jadeja already took 5 wickets in the first innings and in the second innings he is yet to take a wicket.
In the first India scored 318 and in the second innings, India scored 377. New Zealand in reply all out for 262.
Indian batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay again scored ha;f centuries.
