Ravindra Jadeja Not In Touch With CSK Since The End Of IPL 2022, Looks Set To Leave The Franchise

With each passing day, the chances of Ravindra Jadeja leaving Chennai Super Kings are becoming stronger. The allrounder is reportedly set to leave the franchise unless something miraculous happens and changes his mind. But at present, it looks highly likely that the star allrounder will end his long association with the 4-time IPL champions.
The relationship between Jadeja and CSK started turning sour last season when he was made the captain of the franchise just two days before the start of IPL 2022. Before that, CSK had retained him for Rs 16 crore, thus making him the highest-paid player in the team. Things, however, started going downhill once the IPL started. Jadeja failed to deliver as the captain as well as an allrounder.
Consequently, CSK failed to make it to the playoffs. And even before the season finished, Jadeja stepped down from the captaincy role. He was then ruled out of the competition due to injury although rumours stated otherwise. The rift rumours started when CSK’s Instagram handle reportedly unfollowed Jadeja before he pulled out of the tournament.
Ravindra Jadeja not in touch with CSK:
Amidst all these, a report from Times of India has stated that Ravindra Jadeja has been completely “out of touch” with the CSK management since the time IPL 2022 got over. CSK is known to function ‘like a family’ and players stay in touch with the franchise through the year. However, Jadeja has not made any contact with the franchise and has also not been part of any activity of CSK.
Jadeja has also made things pretty clear by deleting all his CSK-related posts from his social media accounts. He was also the only player who was not part of the video that was put out by CSK to wish captain MS Dhoni on his birthday last month. The report further stated that it is extremely unlikely that Jadeja would be ready to be back for CSK next season. Jadeja has been with CSK since 2012 and has been one of their most important players since then.
