Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) have released the most number of players before the auction. RCB have offloaded 12 players and retained 13 players for the next edition of IPL. Virat Kohli-led RCB team will try to find the best combination which can give the team its first IPL trophy.

In the last edition, RCB lost eight matches in 14 matches and finished last in the points table. The franchise needs the players who could contribute to victory. England allrounder Moeen Ali, who joined RCB in 2018, also feels the same way. The player is currently playing in the Abu Dhabi T10 League where he talked to IANS about RCB’s performance.

“We need a good start. I think we always start slowly. We need to be brave, especially at home because the wicket in Bengaluru is very good. The boundaries are small over there and it’s very daunting for the bowlers,” Moeen told IANS during the T10 League in Dubai.

In 2019 edition, he played 11 matches and scored 220 runs and picked six wickets. The top cricketer in the England team detects that only Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers‘ contribution will not be enough to give the victory to the team.

“We cannot keep relying on Virat and AB de Villiers to win us the game. Batters like myself and whomsoever are coming in, have to step up and bat well,” he added.

The Bangalore franchise has Rs. 27.90 crore in their purse. The franchise needs to take some wise decisions to gain profitable players.
