Sridharan Sriram: Sridharan Sriram picked up three wickets in the match Dhoni made his debut but his time did not go well with the bat. He managed just 3 runs and was out stumped by Khaled Mashud, the Bangladeshi wicketkeeper. Sriram was dropped from the side after the next match where he scored 57 and did not get a call up thereafter. However, he continued to play domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu and ended his career with an average of 53.
Sriram joined the rebel ICL and played for the Ahmedabad Rocket franchise before playing in the IPL for Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Even though the tour did not take place due to security concerns Sriram was roped in last year by the Aussies as a batting consultant for the Bangladesh tour. The left-handed batsman was most recently seen with the Aussies helping them to play Rangana Herath and co. during their series against Sri Lanka which took place last month.
