Irfan Pathan: Pathan performed well both with the bat and the ball in Dhoni’s debut match where he scored a 11 ball 21 and picked up a wicket in his 9 overs. Pathan also performed excellently in the final against Pakistan in the world T20 world cup where he recorded figures of 3 for 16 under Dhoni’s leadership.
Pathan’s international career started to fade away due to injuries and poor form and he is still eyeing a comeback into the team. The Baroda cricketer represented the Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL season 2016 and his last national appearance was against the Proteas in the 2012 ICC World T20.
