Revealed : The Release Date Of Sachin A Billion Dreams Decided
Sachin Tendulkar is a name that is worshipped not only in India but worldwide. Such is the stardom of the little man that fans go crazy on just hearing his name. Tendulkar’s success has kept alive the dreams of a billion Indians for nearly 25 years as the batsman has excelled with the bat across all formats during his era. In 2013, the Master Blaster had hung up his boots and has been missed badly ever since.
The news of the genius’s biopic made his fans go berserk earlier this year. Each and every Indian are eagerly waiting to once again relive the fabulous career of Sachin on the big screen. The biopic stars Sachin himself and is directed and produced by James Erskine and Ravi Bhagchandka respectively. The first official poster for the much-awaited biopic, Sachin a billion dreams, was released on twitter by the man himself on April 11th, 2016 which took the world by storm.
The impact of the first poster was such that even Bollywood’s one of the most famous actors Shahrukh Khan expressed his desire to watch the film. Shahrukh tweeted “This one I have to watch. Show me soon my friend.”
The official teaser of the film was released three days after the release of the poster.
After a long wait of 9 months, the release date of the film has finally been revealed. The date fixed is 14th April 2017 which happens to be 10 days before Sachin’s 44th birthday. One can easily predict that the film will run successfully at the box office keeping in mind the huge fan base of the cricketer.
The year 2016 has already seen two biopics released. One was of Mohammad Azharuddin who was banned for life after his alleged involvement in match-fixing and the second one being that of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s, arguably the best ever captain India has ever produced.
