Rishabh Pant’s Covid-19 Positive Test Leaves Michael Vaughan Fearing For India-England Tests And The Hundred

Michael Vaughan took to Twitter and asked for isolation laws to be changed. The India-England Test series kicks off on August 4 while The Hundred is scheduled to start on July 21.
I fear for the 100 & the Indian Test series unless the isolation laws change .. we are bound to have cases as is the case with @RishabhPant17 .. plus further down the line I fear the Ashes could be hugely affected with players pulling out unless bubbles/quarantine rules change !

Rishabh Pant Visited Wembley Stadium To Witness An Euro 2020 Match
England recently hosted Sri Lanka and is now playing a white-ball series against Pakistan. Though the COVID-19 cases in The Three Lions’ camp saw them naming a revamped squad for Pakistan ODIs. Their first-choice players are back for T20Is. England’s limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan will return to captain England for the T20I series against Pakistan, starting July 16.
However, Ben Stokes, who was appointed the captain for the ODI series after the entire first team was forced into quarantine, did not find a place in the team.
Eoin Morgan is one of nine players who have been included in the squad after completing the required period of self-isolation following the Royal London Series against Sri Lanka. All of the 16-player squad and support staff have returned negative Covid-19 tests to clear them for the series.
As for now, the India-England series is on and no changes have been made to the fixtures. As for Rishabh Pant, he is expected to join the squad once he recovers from the infection. The 23-year-old had visited Wembley Stadium to witness Euro 2020. The Indian players were given a three-week break after the World Test Championship final, which ended on June 23.
A few weeks earlier Rishabh Pant was spotted with a friend at a packed Wembley Stadium enjoying the Euro 2020 knock-out match between England and Germany.
