In the decider match of the home T20I series against Windies, the wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant went back to the pavilion without scoring a run for his team. He was promoted to the no.3 position by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, but he was unsuccessful in standing the hopes of the team. Meanwhile, the news is going all around is that the player went for a dinner date with the Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.
According to sources, the 22-year-old met the actress a day before the last T20I match. They both spent the time together at Estella, Juhu around 11 pm. Some time back, there were speculations that Urvashi dated the Indian cricket all-rounder Hardik Pandya. But then the reports surfaced that the allrounder is dating Natasa Stankovic.
Rishabh Pant in Mumbai Pitch
The visitors West Indies and the host India played the third T20I at Wankhede in Mumbai where India registered a comfortable win. With this, India won the three-match T20I series against the Caribbean side by 2-1. The openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul did commendable jobs, as they produced a solid start to the team. Both the players went on to score the half-centuries, while Rahul was just nine runs far from the century when he got out on the ball of Sheldon Cottrell.
After Rohit Sharma lost his wicket, the skipper decided to send Rishabh Pant at No.3. The youngster tried to hit hard the ball, but it ended up on the safe hands of Jason Holder. Pant lost his wicket and got out on a duck which has again brought criticism for his performance.
In the last game at Hyderabad, he played maturely with the bat, scoring 33* off 22. But he left a catch behind the stumps. He can lose his place to Sanju Samson, who is waiting for the opportunity.
Now, the two teams will head to play the three-match ODI series starting from this Sunday (15th December).
