The left-handed aggressive batsman, Rishabh Pant, who is putting his foot ahead in the right direction has now landed upon an another jackpot as the southpaw has strike a three-year multi-crore deal with one of the oldest brand Sanspareils Greenland (SG). Rishabh Pant, who bats with an SG bat will now endorse the product at all level, in all the format he plays now.
“SG has been providing quality equipment to players all over the world, and I am proud to be associated with a brand of this calibre,” Pant was as quoted by PTI.
Rishabh Pant has been in highlight right from the day he started his Under-19 tourney. First, he came on the scene when he blasted an 18-ball half-century against Nepal in the Under 19 World Cup. Being the vice-captain of the team, Pant led the team from the front and scored 267 runs in the junior World Cup helping Indian team to finish the tournament as a runner-up.
Soon, he inked a deal worth Rs. 1.90 Crores with Delhi daredevils as the franchise was keen to take his services and paid a hefty amount for this. He fared in the tournament and scored 198 runs at an average of 24.75.
The current Ranji Trophy season has been a dream for him as currently, he is the second highest run-scorer in the tournament amassing 903 runs. This also includes a run a ball triple century against Maharashtra and a 48 ball century against Jharkhand. His batting average in the current season is 90.30 and the strike off 111.61 is something that puts him ahead of even Virender Sehwag and Kapil Dev.
He is a prospect to watch out for and surely he can make it big in international cricket if shown the right path. He might get his first breakthrough next month when India A plays two practice games against the visitors England. There is a possibility of selectors giving him the much-deserved chance to prove his worth against an international team.
